Catter-Fiddly Happens

A woman was seen on a street corner.. crying and in need. Inked Pen and two others joined her. “What’s the problem?” inquired Inked Pen. “My, life.. my life fucking sucks.” Inked Pen knelt beside her, the other two stammered at her language, “You shouldn’t say such things” they began, “God looks down upon it!” Inked Pen kept focused on the woman crying, “What’s happened to you?”, “Everything,” she cried, “every fucking thing happened to me. I can’t take this shit anymore. I want to fucking die!” Inked Pen frowned at this. The other two widened their eyes and continued, “Do you not understand? God looks down upon this kind of language! I pity your soul! May God truly have mercy upon it!” The other shouted, “Filthy and utterly disgusting! Have you no shame in what you say?”
Inked Pen nudged the girl and she looked up as he tried to explain, “Things happen… We know that.. Whatevers happened to you can be healed.. you just have to give your heart to God. Give your love to God today and try to find a better purpose.. a purpose that fills the void in your heart.” the young girl stopped crying and began to consider, “Can you help me pray? I’m shit when it comes to prayer”. The two became livid and one even left, “I will have nothing to do with this fool! God is definitely looking down upon her!” The other added, “I rebuke this evil child in the name of God” but did remain to see what happened next.
Inked Pen shown the young girl how to pray.. and she prayed.. and she cried again, but this time.. differently. She began to smile in her tears, she began to look up into the sky until she finally stood up and shouted, “I fucking love God! I swear I do! I want to live for Him and do right by Him!” Inked Pen smiled and the other became furious, “You are going to HELL you blasphemous creature! God is not looking at you and he definitely did not hear that prayer!”. The girls passion.. love.. and desire for God suddenly vanished.. she lowered her head and took her seat back again on the street.. those.. tears started again. Inked Pen immediately took action and shouted, “What the fuck did you do that for?” the girl turned her attention and saw someone who understood her imperfections.. who did not look down upon her but was willing to defend her. “You dare? What the catter-fiddly is wrong with you?” they began. Inked Pen walked over to them and whispered, “Should I rebuke you then? For saying catter-fiddly with the emotional content of profanity? Should I rebuke all others who say God Bless You while thinking ‘F’ You? No one is perfect.. but it takes time to step away from our flaws.. from our sins..especially when we’re new and becoming bold to accepting His love”, “But you..”, “i know what I did.. I didn’t want to.. but clearly.. it got her attention that you never wanted. But God wants it.. God wants it and He’ll use me however He sees fit to win them over and transform them.”
Inked Pen walked over to the young woman on the curb, “It’s so easy.. when we dont look or sound like their perfect image of a follower, to ignore a heart for God because of a visible sin.. an obvious flaw. But your profanity.. it can be done away with.. in time and discipline. I’d dare to think how a Moses fleeing egypt, a zealous saul, a joseph imprisoning his brothers, an Esau concerning birthright, Jesus healing on the sabbath or an abraham willing to kill his son would compare to.. profanity.”
“Thanks” she said. “Still on God’s team?” asked Inked Pen. “Yes, Still on God’s team” she replied. “Well then.. lets start small with this new found love shall we? Without so much the F word..or catter-fiddly”.
she giggled and then began to pray.

Proverbs 15
1 A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger.
2 The tongue of the wise commends knowledge,
but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.
3 The eyes of the Lord are everywhere,
keeping watch on the wicked and the good.
4 The tongue that brings healing is a tree of life,
but a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.
5 A fool spurns his father’s discipline,
but whoever heeds correction shows prudence.
6 The house of the righteous contains great treasure,
but the income of the wicked brings them trouble.
7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge;
not so the hearts of fools.
8 The Lord detests the sacrifice of the wicked,
but the prayer of the upright pleases him.
9 The Lord detests the way of the wicked
but he loves those who pursue righteousness.
10 Stern discipline awaits him who leaves the path;
he who hates correction will die.

how much more the hearts of men!

he will not consult the wise.
13 A happy heart makes the face cheerful,
but heartache crushes the spirit.
14 The discerning heart seeks knowledge,
but the mouth of a fool feeds on folly.
15 All the days of the oppressed are wretched,
but the cheerful heart has a continual feast.
16 Better a little with the fear of the Lord
than great wealth with turmoil.
17 Better a meal of vegetables where there is love
than a fattened calf with hatred.
18 A hot-tempered man stirs up dissension,
but a patient man calms a quarrel.
19 The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns,
but the path of the upright is a highway.
20 A wise son brings joy to his father,
but a foolish man despises his mother.
21 Folly delights a man who lacks judgment,
but a man of understanding keeps a straight course.
22 Plans fail for lack of counsel,
but with many advisers they succeed.
23 A man finds joy in giving an apt reply—
and how good is a timely word!
24 The path of life leads upward for the wise
to keep him from going down to the grave.b
25 The Lord tears down the proud man’s house
but he keeps the widow’s boundaries intact.
26 The Lord detests the thoughts of the wicked,
but those of the pure are pleasing to him.
27 A greedy man brings trouble to his family,
but he who hates bribes will live.
28 The heart of the righteous weighs its answers,
but the mouth of the wicked gushes evil.
29 The Lord is far from the wicked
but he hears the prayer of the righteous.
30 A cheerful look brings joy to the heart,
and good news gives health to the bones.
31 He who listens to a life-giving rebuke
will be at home among the wise.
32 He who ignores discipline despises himself,
but whoever heeds correction gains understanding.
